Eyeliner Stickers

Now Your Cat Eyes Can Be Purrfect!

With Eyeliner Stickers

Do you have troubles making an even winged looked? Or how about a clawless flawless cat eye? Well, now you don’t have to wing it, as you can achieve a runway look with Dior Velvet Eyes!  These stick-on eyeliner stickers are very easy to use, plus there are many different eye-catching looks in one pack. Each kit contains four pairs of reusable eyeliner stickers, in four different styles to create a long-lasting look.  Unlike traditional eye liners, which can be messy, these apply without smearing, smudging, or fading away.  And the best part is that they apply in seconds; they’re purrfect!

How to Use
  • Clean your eyelids and pat dry.  You want to make sure your eyelids are completely dry and free of makeup before applying the sticker.
  • With a pair of tweezers, remove an eyeliner sticker from the pack.
  • Don’t apply it right away, as similar to fake eyelashes, they are made for all eyes, so you’ll need to hold it up & measure for size.
  • With a pair of scissors, cut off any excess to fit your eye.
  • Line up the sticker as close to your lash line as possible and adhere.
  • When applying  be careful, especially if you are using the tweezers.

Some BB Bits:
  • Don’t worry if you have a gap in between your lash line and the eyeliner sticker as you can correct this by simply filling it in with some eyeliner.
  •  I also discovered that using some eyelash glue on some of the end tips, help for a stronger hold.
  • To get the last “bit” of use out of these stickers, use them as a stencil.   This does take some skill to do this, but it’s worth trying, especially if you are in a pinch and don’t have any new ones to stick. Simply place the sticker on your eyelid as you would normally do, but this time trace around it, remove and fill in.

Have any eyeliner stickers you prefer or like to share your experience with?  I love comments, so please share.

Makeup "EYE" Brushes Every Girl Should Have

Eyes Brushes every female should have, barbies beauty bits
It’s Makeup Monday and as part of my brush series, I’m going to share with you some "EYE" brushes that every female should have in her makeup arsenal.  Similar to a painter, the perfect makeup strokes can’t be achieved without the correct eye brush.

So Let's Get To The Point: Bottom line, the right brushes can make a big difference in the final results! It’s the difference between a great smoky eye, and a disastrous, “you got beat up look”.  Therefore, if you are one who chooses to use the mini-brush that comes with your makeup, STOP and invest in some good quality brushes.

Although there are so many brands and brushes to pick from, they all have a purpose.  Today I’m going to be referencing MAC brushes, as these are the ones I am most familiar with and honesty, work the best.

So What Brushes Do I Spy For My Eye?

239 Eyeshader Brush: I’m in love with this brush as it can do a lot.  It is fluffy, so it enables you to pick up and deposit color to the entire eye lid. This brush has a tapered, rounded edge with smooth, firm, fine fibers; it’s fool proof.

286 Dual Fibre Blending Brush: Obviously by the name, this brush is also great for blending.  It is a two-toned, duo-fibre brush of goat and synthetic fibres that picks up a “Bit” of color providing a sheer, application.  Yes, I said goat hair, it is very common in makeup brushes and from what I’ve experienced,   it is the most effective hair type in brushes.  These goat hairs are great at picking up color or powder and depositing it evenly and smoothly.  Synthetic, is wonderful for applying cream shadows, and cream eyeliners.

217 Blending Brush: The bristles on this brush are densely packed, allowing you to pick up a lot of color.  I like using this brush to apply shadow in the crease, as well as using it for shading.  (This brush will help you achieve sexy smokey eyes).

224 Tapered Brush: This brush is a more controlled brush.  It works great for blending, so if you’re in fear of applying to much color, no worries with this brush. This brush has soft fibers which taper to form a medium size dome shape

Finding a Strapless Bra That Fits

Need a Strapless Bra for That Perfect Holiday Dress

But, you dread the thought of finding a bra to wear that won’t end up at your waist or make you look like a uniboob?

Well here’s some Beauty Bits for you!

  • Go smaller. Yes, I said smaller! Strapless bras have a way of hanging how they like. First, they have no shoulder support to hold you up. Because of this, they need to be well fitting, so you don’t sag (or, worse, it end up around your ankles...both you and the bra).
  • Try a bunch on before purchasing:  This seems like a “duh” statement, but there are many clients I’ve dealt with, that just grab their size without even trying it on.  Bras are just like clothes, you may wear a slightly different size depending on the type or brand of bra, so stock up for your trip to the fitting room.
  • No bandeau bras!  This is a sure cause for the extra  roll, all the way from the front to the back. As more times than not, it can cut into your upper bust & back area. This is a roll you don't want to be on!
  • Look for an under-wire strapless bra that has a wide band and a defined space between the cups, as this will help to separate your breasts.
  • Once you find a bra that works, get more than one. One nude, one black,or maybe even red for your Valentine.
  • Lastly, Make sure to write down the type of bra, size, and where it was purchased.
