Curlier Eyelashes

Curl Up to This Short But Sweet BB Bit

For curlier eyelashes heat up your Eye Lash Curler, by running it under warm water or heat it with your hair drier for just a second.

You must test the temperature of the eyelash curler, as you don’t want to burn your skin or eyelashes for that matter.  Therefore, prior to placing the eyelash curler near your eye, you want to touch the metal to make sure it is not too hot.  The best place to test is to start with your finger; if it is way too warm for that, you don't want to go to the next test.

Why is the finger alone not enough? For one, the skin around the eye is very sensitive.  Secondly, your fingers are exposed to a lot, so if it’s cool to your finger, it doesn’t necessary mean it is OK for your eyelid.  On the same token, if it’s hot, you’ll know to hold on for a few seconds before testing it anywhere else.  Anyways, next step is to place the eyelash curlier on an area that is comparable to the skin around your eye, but not quite as delicate.  I like this area to be the underside of my wrist; if it feels warm, you’re ready to curl!

Keep in mind; you should not curl your lashes with mascara on, as the mascara can stick to the curler and pull your eyelashes out! Apply mascara after you are finished curling.

What Type of Eyelash Curler?
There are many types of eyelash curlers out there.  But, I’ve found that the metal eyelash curlers outshine the plastic versions.  It is also important that you replace the pads on the curler regularly, about every two months will do.
